Craving for simple white bread with butter and kaya. Bought a normal sized loaf of bread..instead of the large packet. But somehow there is a promotion going on and I'm given an extra pack of long buns!
So I started to think what am I gonna do with the white bread...
3. French toast with eggs
4. Butter and Jam
5. Butter with spicy floss
6. Sandwich w Mini Hotdogs
7. Deep fried Bread w mushroom mix
8. Butter & rasins mix
9. Tuna sanwich
10. Garlic breadsticks
On the idea of thrift..I think a packet of $1.80 white bread does worth so much more;
*Joy of thinking what to make out of the bread
*Excitement of getting ready the ingredients (though of course I won't have time for complicated stuffs! But for someone who don't cook, buying eggs and tuna from a supermarket can be pretty exciting ^_^
*The spur of motivation to jump out of bed to prepare the bread and package them nicely for Bird! (Though "nicely" is probably in Bee's standard; it will be good as long as it's not flatten)
*Taking picture of it to document that I follow through the list I wrote here give me a secret sense of pleasure and satisfaction (yeah sounds silly, but guess its part of me that fulfillment is an important value)
*Feel good that I can thrift and enjoy so much more out of a simple $1.80.. hehe
