A surprise bouquet of sunflower, forget me not and baby breath.. Aww I love flowers!!! Not for the novelty, but for the softness and freshness of it. Flower is a gift from nature. Whoever who design earth is brilliant! How can a wonderful earth without these beauty to add some sparkle to its tones. Flower makes me feel softer, reminds me as a woman, no matter how domineering I may seem, deep inside it's a girl with sensuality n sensitivity. Receiving flowers is like connecting to that hidden sensuality:) thank you bird!

Tuesday morning

JollieBean pancake breakfast from my Birdie!! I'm one simply blessed Bee with Bird feeding me rather than feed on me! Haha somehow I'm looking forward for a morning walk n breakfast with Birdie! Hehe

Oh and I'm in a studying mode again! Was reading a book about service design I got from page one. Didn't expect it to be useful but as I was reading, it gives me a new form of energy because after all planning a system is still a form of design eh! Have been feeling a little stoned while planning structures to lead a team. From young, I'm not exactly comfortable in leading people neither am I comfortable being led. Haha I just probably prefer to be alone n going wherever I want and doing whatever I feel like intuitively! Hehe but being in a company for so long and having to choose from leading or following, I rather stand up and lead. Haha so here I am cracking my brain trying to align team members thoughts, understand their desire and plan a more wholesome structure with work and life balance where everyone could be joyfully working n living each individuals life! Yap! That's my ultimate aim.. I'm still learning. And I'm into reading up n hibernate state here I draw maps and charts. So that's a little about what I have been up to at work.

Managed to snap a pic of my colleague busy walking n watching drama from her portable DVD player.. Haha thought the light falls on her just nice! So to everyone, good morning:)

Garfield and coffee khaki!!

Haven't seen Garfield in the morning lately.. Have been wondering where it has been.. And today instead of walking straight, I turned back and saw Garfield and his mate both sitting quietly facing each other.. Nice scene.

As I trying to snap a pic, Garfield walk towards me n did a rollover seemingly asking for a tummy rub. But it went away n do it's own ultimate stretch when I didn rub its tummy hehe

It's lovely n heartwarming with animals around I feel so much gentler haha

Bird & Bee birthday

18 Feb marks the birthday of Bird & Bee..it's interesting how from being annoyed that Bird share the same birthday (when we first meet..bee can't stand Bird's nonchalance) to now spending birthday hand in hand together:) It's been a journey eh.
I'm feeling so touched that bird take time to go through each n every card Bee prepare.. It's lovely going through our moments together.. Bee almost well up with tears hehe *yes yes Bee is one emotional creature*

Birthdays - my soul is with you

Bee is officially into my big 3! The pic is taken on my last day of twenties..
Today is bird n bee's birthday. I used to think that birthday is an over rated notion. But as times pass n bee grows to understand n appreciate life more.. Birthday carries a special meaning. Because it is a day that marks the beginning of my life. From then on, birthday has been kind of something exclusive to me. A day for reflection. A day to love. A day to b joyful about.
Bird has been connecting with his inner strength n power to do what he do best. It's a great start.. A great way to live a birthday I guess. Though bee is feeling a little left out n lonely with bird's sudden immersion in work. But guess like what bird said to me last night" I always wanted him to do coaching n use his strength to help sparks others." yes indeed! I'm in a way touched to see his sparks has ignited into a blossom of fire to fuel his passion. I'm proud! Especially earlier today hearing him speaking his heart, sharing his own life shift with almost tears well up in his eyes. I know he is so committed in it, in following his calling. How many people have I met that live their life this way. Not many.

It's time for bee to take a back seat, have some tea n simply enjoy watching lovely bird following his heart n so sincerely wanting to bring clarity to people. So guess a little loneliness won't kill bee.

I love you bird. Not too sure if u can hear me amidst ur immersion. But my heart goes out to u. Like I said before " my soul is with you"

Leafy and me

What do people do when feeling not so sparkling... Well I bought a pot of leaf, has a nice name for it as leafy, lead some birds to the new garden, place a little yellow paper bird on my mini flowers and switch on my orange table lamp n shine on Leafy. Yap! My way of getting alittle more sparkling:)

Under the Bodhi tree

Sometime ago, there were a few heart-shaped leaves growing from a corner of the pavement..I thought it was beautiful and I walked away feeling graced by the beauty.

I took that same path for countless time each day I knock off from work as I walk to the bus stop.

Yesterday, I took the same path. I stop there because Bird was taking picture of a cat. I looked up the sky as I waited. I realise I am in the embrace of a tree. Covering me like a curtain with its heart-shaped leaves, leaving window for me to watch the clear blue sky of the evening.

I am standing below a Bodhi tree.
I took a few steps back.

I smiled. I am amazed.

The leaves which I saw sometime ago have grown into a beautiful leafy tree.

I am not aware it has grown so tall:)

Reflections:

Every small little thing and moment has the possibility of becoming big. We just have to give it some time to grow.

Sometimes we need to stop, turn around and take a few steps back in order to realise the beauty and graciousness we are surrounded by.

At other times, it takes another person or event to bring to our attention of what we have and the greatness in it and us. So we just have to trust that there is always a guiding light if we let be.
