Grass Cutting

It's grass cutting time again... It's not something I like... But I guess it's a necessary evil in our urban environment.

Some call it landscaping, some liken it to grooming, others simply call it scheduled maintenance. For these workers, it's just work.

I was once pretty pissed off with this whole grass cutting thing cos I witnessed the destruction it caused to a beautiful colony of ladybirds. I once found this whole tribe of ladybirds & one day, they were nearly totally eliminated after such a scheduled maintenance.

This particular group worked in a team of five, two on each side of the road, plus one man trailing behind blowing away the cut grass.
