Gratitude and love

It seems like a short Sunday..but I have a long day of little moments.

1. Walked to granny's place to pass something and on my way, I found this lovely leaves laying on the ground with such beautiful clear water droplet right on it.. I just have to take a pic! 

2. Found those lovely pink flower blooming from pots of plants my granny and aunt keep. Looking fresh and beautifully green:)

3. I wandered alittle along a little jungle, snapping pictures of those big leaves with water droplets on it..they are beautiful:) (*I didn't realise my aunt was behind me...she probably wondering what am I doing and walked away, because I only saw her back as I turned around hehe)

4. While waiting for the bus, I saw this white clouds moving real fast above and across swisshotel@cityhall. Lovely. I wonder how many people notice that. 

5. Met up with Bird and someone who is feeling a little blue. I kept quiet all the time, just listening. 

and here's something inspired from it somehow;

6. On my way back, Saw this couple in the train look china maybe Tibet or somewhere far.. They r sitting down with two trolley wheel tied to those plastic basket we seen in market. They dressed in somewhat not so tidy clothes. The woman is kind of bald n hair messy.. But somehow I feel they r beautiful in some strange way I didn know how to describe maybe because they seems contented n comfortable with how they dress n what they bring even tho it may not be the norm. The woman has her eyes closed look tired the guy tried to pinch her nose n ears. I can't hear what they say but he look like he is playing with her. Somehow I thought the scene is beautiful, little moment of life eh.

7. Saw a young couple feeding a kitten with kitty food in this windy cold night. Seeing such scene makes me feel touched and thankful that whether people are conscious about it or not, compassion is something in all of us in some point of our life. I hope the kitty had a full meal and a good sleep with warmth :)

8. Wind gets stronger and as I look up, I saw the rain drizzling down so quietly with the wind, looking like snow:)

 I was trying to capture a pic of the sun glowing above me..told my mama to wait, I want to take pic of the sun.. She replied me "what's so good to take about the sun" haha and as I turn around, there she is sitting there posing for me to snap a pic of her! such a darling!! hehe

 have been wanting to get a cap and am happy that I finally find more than one that caught my eyes! 

of course being such a lover of bright colours, I was contemplating between the orange and red! And I got the red! hehe

 we r both in yellow!!! hehe we have a long day shopping! and looking at the list of things we got! we really have gone pretty far hehe:

(another heavy loading; almost flip when she told me she want to get those.. haha but there is promotion going on so...well... hehe)

 shopping for cny is my annual favourite thing to do with my mama. It's what cny meant to me; being with family and experience those little moments of joy with mama as we squeeze through crowds looking for some mini bamboo thingy, her passing me candy, snacks to try, choosing decors (which we seldom use, but it's just the experience of choosing something together for our home makes me feel good:)

I told her to open eyes big big so can see her eyes in pic..and there she goes! real big and almost crossed it seems. haha

It's a tiring day but worth it!..it's overcoming my temper and patience with nothing but love.

 And woman! I love women! I'm straight. I just think woman are much more intriguing than guys.

I just get to appreciate woman more..with each curvature of the body, eyes, lips, scent and hairstyle.. There are just so much more in a woman to adore. Most of all, I guess no matter how much we need a guy sometimes, there are just things that only woman would understand. We are strong, we are weak, we are sensitive, we are expressive.. we can be needy, we are fiercely independent. Woman is a beautiful form of art.

Finally brought Bird to Sun with Moon restaurant. hehe They serve great jap food. Most of all, I wanted to bring Bird there because of its name! hehe Sun with Moon. So if I am the Sun, Bird is the Moon! And we are when the sun and moon aligned. hehe

Mood is an passing emotion consists of thoughts, experiences and perceptions...Of which, we can choose what we think, how we feel about our experiences and what we perceive. So a good mood will mean think of good things, live our experiences as a process of life that make us stronger and to take a positive perception on things:) Grant yourself a GOOD MOOD in this good morning with a beautiful MOON:)

Well just back from work at this wee hour.. get to ride with a nice chatty and cheerful cab driver. He was talking about its going to be 15th of the lunar month and that the moon is getting round. I looked out of the window as he pass by a flyover and I was exhilarated, the moon looks right back at me from the middle of the clear night blue sky with little stars sparkling around it. Perfect! I was literally woow with my mouth open, looking at the moon probably like as if I m a kid with the first encounter with the moon. hehe.. The uncle smile and said :" nice right?!" 

"Yes!!! it's totally!" Bee replied.

Well well before I have proper time to write anything and recount my lovely new year day and some other inspirations.. (I have been finding so hard to catch up with updating lovely things here..isnt it ironic? everyday is work) I just want to thank my lovely Bird for being so understanding while hearing my complaints on work, seeing my tired face..and waited for me to knock off to keep me accompany.. (these really are little things that keep me going when I'm trapped between works and cant find the joy in it) Just listen to a sound recorded by Bird as he wandered into the forest after work today.. *without me* because I'm trap in the stuffy, stressful meeting room!!!

The sound is beautiful!!! Birds chirping! corresponding to each other forming such wonderful synchronized vibration through the sound of the breeze.. It really lift me up out of all the sunken mood. Suddenly, I remember the little joy in those little moments.. and of course I crave for nature..and looking forward to go back to it with Bird!

My beloved Tweety

 Some close friends may know this VERY SPECIAL TWEETY..yeah! it's been trying to make that call since day one when my mum gave this to me as a souvenir when she came back from a short trip. Well at least this is how I remember..and that was 16 good years ago:)

Probably the one thing which follows me the longest of time!!! Yea!! it has been through thick and thin with me all these years.. which you can easily tell from its bruises and colour:p

It has been misplaced several times during its course of journey with me..and I even cried once thinking I lost it forever..only to find it somewhere in the office.. And another time found it just at the edge of the lift door after a night of losing it.. It is like we share this infinity together:) 16 years is through rebellious teenage years, adventurous or reckless 20s' till now the beginning of my thirties. There are times when I felt so down and having things that can't share with parents yet yearning for warmth from them..I will hold it in my palm so tight and silently telling it my longings and desire for warmth and comfort. And it does makes me feel better. Such is the love for it and my mum:)

Bird has been asking me to grant Tweety its retirement so it can have its well deserved rest after all these years. I can't bear to.. even right now I still look at it and cant bear to not bring it with me:) 

It's irreplaceable. And for a long time I havent find anything that can take up its task till just now when we saw this bee bearbrick. The size looks alright, weight is fine. It's a bee so that's kind of me..Bird got it for me .. I successfully turn it into a keychain instead of a hp strap. It doesn't feel anything like Tweety.. It's new. It's lovely..but yet it will never be the same. It takes some courage to make the change; slotting key by key in as I already missing Tweety. 

I realise they have something in common; they are both pretty yellow:) Maybe that's why I feel alright to make the change. The energy is the same..perhaps. I left a tiny key with Tweety in case it is not used to being retired..So I think it will be aright:)

Time with Bird has taught a few lessons and one of which is learning to let go. Learning to love and loving..So here I practice.. Love...Breathe

New year eve

without realising...it's actully officially the last day of 2011 now!!! 

what are you doing on new year eve!? 

well...well.. I think count down party is kind of over rated. 

Nevertheless, new year eve and day is a special moment for me. Well I feel it with utmost respect and view it as a transition..from the old to the new. It's a great opportunity for us to reflect, forgive, love and give... Most of all, to be thankful for everything we have.

New year day can be just another day or it could be a day of greatness empowering us 

if we hold it as a day of great transition from old to the new.. a great moment to take whatever first step we have been holding back..a great moment to give a pat on our shoulder and a wide smile, affirming a great year ahead:)

 Reading an article from matador.. It's beautiful.. N get me thinking how many people n at what occasions have they share the beautiful breathtaking moment of the eclipse. It is a love shared..... It's greatness from the universe hehe I'm feeling like I have to dip into water which actually metaphorically feels like my soul.. I need to dip into my soul.. N lift my head above it and take a large breathe of air in order to push forward.. N to rekindle the light shining upon the water haha leave bee alone n this is what u get.. Rising to the sun:)

 So this is Xmas day...went to a new mall, while waiting for a midnight show..we sat ourselves at Max Brenner's chocolate place! aaaww forget to snap a pic of the menu!! It's such a lovely story told in the menu.. we were so into reading the menu till we almost forget to place order. Love their hug mug! yeah a little quirky name and it makes me smile so much hugging the mug sipping the hot cocoa!

I didn't really think their drinks were superb. I believe I have tasted something nicer, hotter! hehe but the story is so enchanting:) Bring me like alice into wonderland. 

Did you spot something orange and sprouting out from my bag? hehe 

well clearly I was so oblivious to my surrounding. 

when this picture was taken, I still have no idea that Bird had plucked a flower from somewhere n slot it in my bag! n even show me this picture which he took of me n the flower, thinking I may see it! 

But I didn't!

It was only when I slipped into a toilet, and suddenly as I turned around, had a fright! and was in a confused mode! Is this my bag? how come there is a flower? lalalala 

:P

 and we decided to take a seat in donalds after the show and walked over to the seaside for sunrise!! 

I love watching sunrise!! it's such a beautiful and renewing moment. Each time you see a sunrise, it just reminds you that each moment is new and each day is to be cherished! To remember to love and be loved.

We waited and waited and the sky is still clouded. Just as our eyes are closing..and we decided to go grab breakfast. I stood up feeling glad that we are waiting for the sunrise together. Saw some mimosa and started snapping pictures! and just as I looked up! I caught a glimpse of the sun rising to us! hehe 

which leads me to think of a statement "it's a matter of time!" and yeah!! 

Oh I did my leap again and Bird caught me flying high up! hehe Loving it!! oh and there are the two of us trying to open eyes big big despite the sleepiness getting on us!

hmm as I'm writing this, a phrase come to my mind

"a leap of faith" :)

Xmas of Bird and Bee

 

Had a great xmas weekends. It was a tiring xmas eve from work but yet manage to have some fun;

catching a show 'we bought a zoo" and have a little stroll out in the rain! yeah!! I was looking at the rain as Bird was contemplating to catch another show. And when Bird asked me how.. I just said I want to go out. hehe a little like a kid, not daring to say that I want to go out in the rain to play! hehe 

Nevertheless, as we were watching the rain and me fascinated with snapping pictures of the rain drop by the christmas light, Bird told me to go out and do a spin so he could take a pic of me! OF COURSE! I did!!! amused and amazed!! by this connection! hehe I strolled into the rain and did a spin and a jump! And most of all, Bird did a great nice leap in the rain too!! woohoo!!
