Molecule of music

This got me smiling, grinning in awe of not so much of the music, but the community spirit. The surprise of bringing classical music to the street. Look at how everyone seems to be brought to their feet, how those children "join in" the conducting of the piece of music with their fingers in mid air, flowing with the rhythm, totally immersed. It's such pure joy to experience how little things like this bring so much pleasure to so many human beings that everyone seems connected at that very moment where the music is playing. It's as if each tune of the piece have permeate through the little air molecules that we breathe in and and out all together, hand in hand.

Into the Wild

Good wild morning! Well many thoughts have come and pass, sometimes in between reading a good book, sometimes in between my "ecstasy" over a cup of caffeine and of course, there are other times when I simply just prefer to feel the moment then to focus my head down on my device typing away. I have been having this "wild" word hovering above within me lately. I listen to Wild horses by Natasha Bedingfield yesterday and today somehow I get hook on Soundtracks of the movie "Into the Wild", a movie which I watched from rented DVD years ago. A movie that evoke questions in me and set some part of me longing to be with the wilderness. I don't call myself exactly adventurous person, but I love to be in awe of so much wonders in the wild. CURIOUS is perhaps a better word to describe me.

For those who haven't watch this movie, it's worth watching. Listening to the soundtrack now makes me want to watch the movie again over a cup of hot coffee. What is one thing you long to do but haven't get to it?

There are many on my list and the list seems constantly growing itself. But guess I shall keep it simple.

Here's a two:
1. Find my mission and do something that I could look forward waking up to and with a smile or even laughters on my face every moment, feeling my heart in tune to my body and soul.
2. Travelling to Finland.

Of course there are two things which I'm happy I'm finally getting to it:
1. Bring my parents for a holiday. Looking forward.
2. Getting next stage of life with Mr Owl:)

SongBird

aww this is making me so so happy and chirpy (despite my aching tooth)

SongBird by Ryan Montbleau Band

Sweet little songbird sitting on a wire, sing a fire from your belly so small.
Sound waves 'a roll and the waves spread wide, you sing your song till it's six feet tall.
Walkin', talkin', stalking down the side walk, wearin' cloth's standin side by side.
Fly little song birds on to the next stop, you sing your song you look each other in the eye.

Who ought to tell you not to sing your story? Who ought to tell that your singin' off key?
You are the dance, you are not the dancer, you are the song, not the one who sings.

Be-a-you-tiful song, songbird. Be-a-you-tiful song, songbird. Be-a-you-tiful song, songbird.
And you tell me true. Tell me true.

You know my trinny got the wild 'magination. He think they lookin' when he walk on by. He think the world is one big big mirror, he get upset and then he don't feel right.

And he walkin', stalkin', stalkin' down the side walk, sporting cloths strutting stride by stride. I tell him trinny you are not what you consider, I stop 'em dead when I look 'em in the eye.

I say, "Who ought to tell you not to sing your story? Who ought to tell that your singin' off key?
You are the dance, you are not the dancer, you are the song, not the one who sings."

Be-a-you-tiful song, songbird. Now Be-a-you-tiful song, songbird. Now Be-a-you-tiful song, songbird.
And you tell me true. Tell me true.

You get upset and then you don't feel, you don't feel right. You try to fly up straight and you fly uptight. You try to talk about life, like it's all an event... Life is the dancer, you are the dance.

So be-a-you-tiful song, songbird. Now Be-a-you-tiful song, songbird. Now Be-a-you-tiful song, songbird.
And you tell me true. Tell me true. Tell me true. Tell me true. Oh you tell me true, oh a beautiful songbird, beautiful songbird.

Being Joy

Oh right... Bee is buzzing here and there and everywhere lately. Mainly, I'm buzzing through my way to understand what makes me happy and what energizes me and give me joy. I always thought I have a work that I'm happy with and that it doesn't feel like work. Maybe that is true for large first part of my journey in this work. But recently, it seems to be further and further away from what seems like a dream that I would fulfill with joy. It seems to be deviated from what I always thought it is. So honestly, I felt lost for the first time and maybe even a little depressed. I started asking myself questions. I realise I could do so much more and there are so much more things that could energize me beside work.

I watched talks, read books, did alittle gardening, getting high with my friend who says Popsicle reminds her of me, hug a dog, snapping photos. Well I'm happy while I'm doing all these. I'm someone who just have to pour my heart into something because that is pretty much me. My soul.

Watched this talk by Benjamin Zander and I feel exactly each impulse, each note he is talking about. I love how he said success to him is about watching his audiences' eyes filled with sparkles. And I totally can relate to what he said about "if your audiences' eyes are not sparkling, ask yourself who are you being" This is exactly how I'm feeling. I don't feel myself sparkling lately and I'm asking myself who am I being.

Success to me is when I'm able to inspire or help people and watch their eyes sparkle. Yap. Simple as this and this gives me joy and this makes my eyes sparkle, my voice energized, my soul lit up.

So here I'm on a path of being. Being joy.

Give everyone an A! Love this speech Benjamin Zander gives. It's amazing!

up in your hands

This video get me dancing around in my room!! yeah!! give me some experimental stuffs like this!!! Jeez! yeah! hands up in the air!!! let the papers fly! quit the queue! If someone is dying and still have to wait for paper work to go through from A to B to C to..... Is it still consider efficiency? How many times you heard people behind the office desks said they are trying! But trying is not enough if what someone is competing with time to stay alive. Trying is to shallow a word. Say do your best. Not try your best.
Aww this is such amazing simple song that speaks so much for some part of the world where so often being forgotten.

Mother,
I've gotta get out of here
So I can save our family
From this poverty
And when I make my money
I'll send it back to you

Father,

Give me strength, I pray
I have to end this misery
It's causing too much pain
I'm gonna look for richer lands
Where the money's made

I'm gonna put my whole world

In your hands
I have to put my whole world
In your hands
In your hands

Mister,

Please let me work somehow
You've kept me waiting eighteen months
And still I'm not allowed
And everytime you promise me :
"Not much longer now "

I've to put my whole world

In your hands
You've got my whole world
In your hands
In your hands
Listen to me, listen to me

Mister,

Mr ! You say you're trying
But don't you know my brother's dying
You say "It won't be long"

But why am I so cursed

For where I am born ?

You've got my whole world

In your hands
I've had to put my whole world
In your hands
I'm gonna put my whole world
In your hands
I've had to put my whole world
In your hands
In your hands.

Have been loving the music of Enigma since young.. and Sunrise and here it is.. both in one. hehe
Beautiful:)

New year eve

without realising...it's actully officially the last day of 2011 now!!!
what are you doing on new year eve!?
well...well.. I think count down party is kind of over rated.
Nevertheless, new year eve and day is a special moment for me. Well I feel it with utmost respect and view it as a transition..from the old to the new. It's a great opportunity for us to reflect, forgive, love and give... Most of all, to be thankful for everything we have.
New year day can be just another day or it could be a day of greatness empowering us
if we hold it as a day of great transition from old to the new.. a great moment to take whatever first step we have been holding back..a great moment to give a pat on our shoulder and a wide smile, affirming a great year ahead:)

Happy New Year Eve!!
