To the blue light

I'm having a little dream on this lazy Saturday afternoon. 

Journaling my experiences here has given me a great time to stay connected with the soul within. Some weeks ago, I had a dream that pointed me to go to where the blue portion of the map is..

It's a beautiful dream, perhaps the most beautiful dream I ever have as far as I remember. 

A series of experiences have led me to a place, named Lapland in Finland.

Perhaps that is where the blue is. 

Since then, I have been having Lapland in mind, in search of more information about traveling there and getting around. I have never travel that far away from the equator. So this certainly means an adventure! It isn't a contemplation to travel there. It's perhaps a matter of time and chance. I will get there somehow. Soon. I just knew it. Because the feeling is strong.

*oh and I have been listening to this song "We all fall in love sometimes" by Jeff Buckley:) Setting my Saturday in a slow and peaceful mood. And yea.. we all fall in love sometimes. be it with people we met, know, places we been or dream.

Guess what I wonder what is this affinity with the aurora borealis telling me.. I chanced upon this..its beautiful!!!!! time lapse of aurora lights! jeez they are like dancing lights literally! 

and I watched it on full screen on my mac and tata!! it ends with "Visit finland right at my face" hahaha maybe I should read up about finland..is this the blue part of the map that I'm supposed to go haha..

Strangely..beginning of this year..that is one of my dream; to visit Sweden.

But along the way where I bumped into so many ups and downs..it just slip out of my mind..

And here's something greater out there leading me back to it..

I believe so:) and have good feeling about it!

Bird imagining birds sliding down rainbow on fluffy clouds, so I draw:) Only in this case, the owl is freaking out with eyes turning white as it slides down the rainbow being chased by a bee:p

Jumping and swinging away again, which gave me a swollen foot by the time I reach home. What an eventful and silly moment! I'm loving it. Thank you Bird for such beautiful pictures!

A scene that inspires previous writing "here and now"...

Here and Now

Here was once a man in a seat
drawn into a world in his hands
with a cup of coffee resting in his accompany.

Here was once birds gathered for a 
feast of luxury and left with crumbs
of cookie and stain of tea.

Here was once where a man and a woman
smiled as they whisper sweet nothings
immersed in reminiscing loving dreams.

Here was once they exist in many moments
of a day.

Now is where the stories lay
quietly, intertwining, becoming 
a tapestry of memories
held all by this seat.

Haven't been writing stuffs like this for the longest time. Or perhaps haven't been people watching and feeling this surge of words coming through me this way for the longest time too. Writing has always been part of me, but it had taken a back seat since ages ago. I should say I'm surprised these words came to me today..just so naturally. I can write still. Not the best of words nor poetry, but a form of inner expressions that I always love to share. I have to thank my dearie bird too for being supportive to read through my words and tell me that they are nice. Because without that encouragement, these words would perhaps go into a closed diary and forgotten in swift. Does this mark a new beginning of my writing? Will I be able to fulfill a tiny dream of being able to share my writing to more and touch them with words? I would really love to, but meanwhile guess being able to express myself freely, taking a step at a time to free myself to love and share love is good enough. 

*Oh and another breakthrough of the day, I thought I would record it here. I actually sang a song I always wanted to sing for Bird today after singing to my computer again and again, I finally sent him my voice in an email. haha
I'm surprised by myself. Not that I sing well, but that I actually dare to record my voice singing to someone. That's the thing I would never dare to do. But I did. 
And well all because; we only live once, I'm in love, I'm grateful, I don't want to miss a chance loving:)

a place dear to me

This is no ordinary Mcdonald, it is one special place to me. A place that holds a great part of my life, my memories. It is a big part of my soul and was where I began my life journey. I been to this place for years and had took number of pictures here. But it never come across to me to take a picture of it at night until this night with my bird. And to my great astonishment, the night shots of this place turns out great! It really captures the soul of this place, its depth in its simplicity, its beauty in this ordinary home. I always wish someone dear to me could share this place and moments with me here, someone who would fall in love with this place like I do or simply be able to realise the charm of this place. Sounds like a simple wish, but sometimes simple wish is something that most people cast aside. 

This is a place that marks my moments with mummy when I was a kiddo, my first love, my first writing/drawing..my first heartbreak, the first and till now probably the only place where I would feel safe and retreat to.. and something happened that marks a greater meaning to this place; our meeting (me & bird)
