Good Morning!

Under the Bodhi tree

Sometime ago, there were a few heart-shaped leaves growing from a corner of the pavement..I thought it was beautiful and I walked away feeling graced by the beauty.

I took that same path for countless time each day I knock off from work as I walk to the bus stop.

Yesterday, I took the same path. I stop there because Bird was taking picture of a cat. I looked up the sky as I waited. I realise I am in the embrace of a tree. Covering me like a curtain with its heart-shaped leaves, leaving window for me to watch the clear blue sky of the evening.

I am standing below a Bodhi tree.
I took a few steps back.

I smiled. I am amazed.

The leaves which I saw sometime ago have grown into a beautiful leafy tree.

I am not aware it has grown so tall:)

Reflections:

Every small little thing and moment has the possibility of becoming big. We just have to give it some time to grow.

Sometimes we need to stop, turn around and take a few steps back in order to realise the beauty and graciousness we are surrounded by.

At other times, it takes another person or event to bring to our attention of what we have and the greatness in it and us. So we just have to trust that there is always a guiding light if we let be.

Gratitude and love

It seems like a short Sunday..but I have a long day of little moments.

1. Walked to granny's place to pass something and on my way, I found this lovely leaves laying on the ground with such beautiful clear water droplet right on it.. I just have to take a pic! 

2. Found those lovely pink flower blooming from pots of plants my granny and aunt keep. Looking fresh and beautifully green:)

3. I wandered alittle along a little jungle, snapping pictures of those big leaves with water droplets on it..they are beautiful:) (*I didn't realise my aunt was behind me...she probably wondering what am I doing and walked away, because I only saw her back as I turned around hehe)

4. While waiting for the bus, I saw this white clouds moving real fast above and across swisshotel@cityhall. Lovely. I wonder how many people notice that. 

5. Met up with Bird and someone who is feeling a little blue. I kept quiet all the time, just listening. 

and here's something inspired from it somehow; 

"Everyone have different perspective n opinions but everyone want one thing similar.. Everyone want to be happy. How hard n how easy to be happy don't depend on cert.. It's all within us to be. Success is not about having qualification or high paid job or rank.. It's the ability to identify that we hold the power to be happy. N this don't depend on anyone, anything. If we want to fight n prove ourselves, all we need to do is to be happy. Because how many people will be jealous of our happiness that we can give ourselves when most people are waiting for others to give them happiness."

 Be appreciative for at least one thing a day and each day will get rosier and prettier:) Today I'm thankful for little moments that show me journey of life, compassion and gratitude.

Spend each day as if it's your last, you will find that there is no time for fear, anger and hatred for others and for ourselves. (aww now i feel like watching tuesday w morrie again in this cold windy weather:)

6. On my way back, Saw this couple in the train look china maybe Tibet or somewhere far.. They r sitting down with two trolley wheel tied to those plastic basket we seen in market. They dressed in somewhat not so tidy clothes. The woman is kind of bald n hair messy.. But somehow I feel they r beautiful in some strange way I didn know how to describe maybe because they seems contented n comfortable with how they dress n what they bring even tho it may not be the norm. The woman has her eyes closed look tired the guy tried to pinch her nose n ears. I can't hear what they say but he look like he is playing with her. Somehow I thought the scene is beautiful, little moment of life eh.

7. Saw a young couple feeding a kitten with kitty food in this windy cold night. Seeing such scene makes me feel touched and thankful that whether people are conscious about it or not, compassion is something in all of us in some point of our life. I hope the kitty had a full meal and a good sleep with warmth :)

8. Wind gets stronger and as I look up, I saw the rain drizzling down so quietly with the wind, looking like snow:)

9. I'm glad my mum is fine:)

 And woman! I love women! I'm straight. I just think woman are much more intriguing than guys.

I just get to appreciate woman more..with each curvature of the body, eyes, lips, scent and hairstyle.. There are just so much more in a woman to adore. Most of all, I guess no matter how much we need a guy sometimes, there are just things that only woman would understand. We are strong, we are weak, we are sensitive, we are expressive.. we can be needy, we are fiercely independent. Woman is a beautiful form of art.

Sun with Moon, Bee with Bird

Finally brought Bird to Sun with Moon restaurant. hehe They serve great jap food. Most of all, I wanted to bring Bird there because of its name! hehe Sun with Moon. So if I am the Sun, Bird is the Moon! And we are when the sun and moon aligned. hehe

The morning smells great and the sky is blue. Sun peeping through the leaves and branches, rays embracing the trees:) Our little fellows of the green hurry out to catch a sunbath. Birds singing, rejoice a new life with the sun.

Found this rango hugging the tree to get a little tan! it's cute!

So I'm indeed very in love

Love these images so much!! reminds me of how bee n bird first got together! perching on the window in the cold of the highland! kind of the first feeling of love connection for Bird. hehehe and the angel doggy made of little beads! thats the other moment I felt touched by Bird and feel the connection! When he surprised me with this little gift placed on clouds (made of cotton wool) and passed it to me in a bookstore while I was browsing away. That moment is still so sweetly in my memory:) n the swallows pictures from the tiny book about love.. reminds me of how we met those little pacific swallows that I so strongly believe it wink at me with a smirk on its face on the very first day bird told me that he feel we may be soulmates:) It's all amazing eh. Unbelievable but true. What are the chances we found in our life time the soulmates of ours. Maybe they are all around like angels but just whether we are tuned in to them. hmm n the magnetic poems! a mini gift from Bird! that makes me really happy! I love playing with words! n here it is me piecing the words on my pot!

Little paper birdie

Bird has an inspiration. And bee creates it in my hands.
It's lovely to hear Bird mention the idea of folding and giving away each of this little paper bird away as a gift and blessing during our special day:) The kind of little thing that melts me and fill me with sweetness like hunny. So filled with hunny, I just spontaneously dug into my bag for paper to fold a bird but I didn't have my notebook with me. All I have were scraps of paper I printed out for reference. So here I'm using my matrix card to cut the paper and folded it as precise as bee can get. I didn't have good memory of how a paper bird is formed but somehow my hands just follow naturally as if there is an energy guiding me to fold it and get a beautiful little white bird like this!
I'm kind of proud of myself and totally in my own world. Bringing the little bird so delicately up in the sky and down in the little leaves and flowers for taking picture.
And of course! it's the first thing I pass to Bird when I step in office. I would really love to give Bird a big hug. But being in office, I learn to be discreet:)
