Beautiful gift
I feel so touched so touched...listening, watching, feeling how someone expresses her talent so naturally and beautifully. And this is exactly what I love to do. To live authentically and express my truth. My truth in longing wanting, to inspire people to express their gift. It's a beautiful thing.

Molecule of music
This got me smiling, grinning in awe of not so much of the music, but the community spirit. The surprise of bringing classical music to the street. Look at how everyone seems to be brought to their feet, how those children "join in" the conducting of the piece of music with their fingers in mid air, flowing with the rhythm, totally immersed. It's such pure joy to experience how little things like this bring so much pleasure to so many human beings that everyone seems connected at that very moment where the music is playing. It's as if each tune of the piece have permeate through the little air molecules that we breathe in and and out all together, hand in hand.

Tasting and being in touch
Have you ever feel like that you've done so much and maybe alittle too much for you to handle..
Have you wish you could just sit on a hill and watch the world passes by.. (This reminds me of a song "The fool on the hill" by The Beatles)
Have you just hope to be in peace with yourself before moving onwards to anything else..
Well...
I'm feeling all the above now.
Listening to ukulele mix of Beatles..aww.. Beatles.. the magic of their song never wear off.
It eases my mind alittle and return me to that light feather that floats with the wind.
Or maybe it's those muscle relaxant tablets that I took. It's such a pity that I have problem relaxing myself that I have to resort to tablet to slow down my mind and let me be alittle more comfortable with myself and what I'm doing. It's the year end. But in no way it feels like it. Because somehow I'm already in 2012 already. I feel as if I skipped the new year. I skipped the joy of Christmas, busy planning whatever needs to be done and filling up dates to meet deadline.
I have my music on every moment I travel to and fro work. But never have I listen to music in such a manner for a long time. Really simply listening to the lyrics and each melody play by each instrument. Each string, each notes..makes me smile. Bring me to a happy land. A land where it is alright to just simply be who you are and do what you feel and believe.
It's a shame I only realise that music has somehow been just a form of escapade for me and not really being appreciated like a glass of wine or a pint of fruity foamy ice cold beer.
Suddenly I get it why do those black and white oldies films always seems to show someone sitting by a bar or a gramophone doing nothing but smoking cigar or sipping wine so so slowly..
They are tasting the music. Tasting the moment as the smoke gathers in a little ball rolling in the air.
*suddenly realise its been a year since the last time I been to roomful. How time flies while you are busy making ends meet. Why do designer tend to smoke weeds..well thanks to media and profit making machines..everything is about speed. Designers just got rolled over and over projects..and so often it's not because they are drained of ideas. It's simply because their mind is pushed so fast that they need some weeds to reduce those speed. To hear their heart beats again. To do a little tap dance.
Love how he skip and hop..on the hill...and those silly grin...makes me feel thankful to be able to listen to this beautiful music and be in touch once again..

Bee gone mad! n loving it!
I met an angel today.
I feel the power arising from the very pulse of my heart.
I feel the energy pouring into the universe, dancing with it.
I feel each beat of the galaxy.
I feel the speed rushing through my veins.
I feel the beats speaking to me.
I met an angel today.
And the angel is the music within.
I'm in a little madness! But that's what driving me forward now.
And I'm loving the madness!

Christmas
Lovely Christmas songs put a smile on my face! I love Christmas songs and these are a few with a different note. Below is a little intro found on the page I found these lovely tunes:
"Sometimes, do you not just feel a little over-bombarded with the superficial, razzmatazz of Christmas? Granted, it is the one time of the year when we can just let rip and pretend to be jolly even if we are not, but Christmas can also be a time for quiet reflection, with simple and uncomplicated musings. Often, this kind of intimacy with the season can be sought through a music which is not concerned with commercialism and is somewhat more obscure. Indeed, balanced upon this delicate line, are these emotional and poignant songs. This is a blend of beautiful and haunting songs that faithfully echo and merge the true spirit of Christmas with winter's melancholy."
Gay Burton
Found this music while searching for some songs on the starbucks playlist that Bird found! And it's pretty! I love how little things makes me smile and enjoy so much! Like searching little pretty music to come to find a lovely tunes along the way:) Good Morning Monday!

Wilderness within
Just realise one of my favourite band had disbanded early this year. Seems like I have lost track of dance music for a while. No dancing. No hopping. No crazy moshing around dance floor. Sometimes I think Bee might have a split personality. The wild and the homely.
The wilderness deep within in such a childlike play.
Faithless is one of those music that make me feel free! yes! FREE! I can just flow with the music, the beats, the lyrics. The me within.
It's a pity to hear the news of them disbanding.
Especially when I didn get a chance to jump around in club with them spinning live.
What I love about them:
Their beats just give the vibe and sensuality.
The lyrics ain't like typical brainless dance tunes.
most of all, it sets me free and empower me in some weird ways:)
So well..guess I'm gonna visit HMV and get a hardcopy of their album or albums.
Good thing may not last physically forever. But it remains in your heart and left a mark in your memory:)

House at Pooh corner
Found this song "House at Pooh corner" by Kenny Loggins, who is the same artiste who sing "For the first time" a memorable song for the bee and birds. Lovely lyrics:) Bring me back to kiddoland with pots of honey and a cuddly yellow bear to hug!

Nobody but you - Lou Reed
I'm in love with this song:)
Nothing can beat it now!
I'm in love.
I'm in love.
I'm so in love.
A song tribute to Andy Warhol..
I'm putting this song on repeat...as I watch the clock
I'm dreaming of sipping wine and perhaps play the die.
Tapping my feet to the rhythm
My body sway from side to side..
My head nodding to the melody
that has now flooded my mind.
I'm curved up with a smile so wide.
Even my eyes are laughing...
I'm swirling
in a world of mine..
Please me..
and maybe I will let you in..
Dance dance dance...
Most know me as crazy..
Some say I'm beyond.
I prefer to go beyond "beyond"
to touch the sky
and fly into the sun
like how birds glide towards sunset..
soaring as if to say
there is nothing happier than to fly
and me still here
craving for a good cold wine.

Moments with Gorillaz
Gorillaz's new tunes from The Fall album. Love their experimental music all these while. The video flashes scenes during a journey. And that reminds me on how Gorillaz music always brings me that sense of familiarity and that part of me whenever I'm overseas and feeling distant. I would leave my laptop on playing its album while showering, working in the lonely room, only me and Gorillaz's tunes filling up that emptiness. Still remember how one night I managed to catch their performance on cable channel and for that moment, that is bliss. Music does speak alot more that we can imagine.

Like a Papillon
| Photo taken lovingly by Lovely Bird:) |
Le Papillon is one of my favorite movie. I watched it years ago and am in love with the soundtracks. Have not listen to it for a long time. I didn't know why I'm suddenly drawn to it. It's beautiful. Reminds me of some memories in an episode of my life. An episode of life that I mark a closure and let go. It is really amazing how people's path crossed. No matter how long it lasts or what's the story, we're made to meet each other, shared moments and love. And yet sometimes, as if destiny being drawn, it could be just a thin line that decides your path together. Maybe life is like a fleeting butterfly, it's about living the moments.
And to all lovely people whom I have met and been with, I love you all. And perhaps like a papillon, I raise my wings and fly..but no matter where I'm, there will always be a part of my soul dancing, loving fellow all in my life.
